Update 25

Editing is getting close to being finished. The website is ready to go, all we need is a couple of photos to put in and obviously the video to embed. Hopefully this will be completed soon.

Update 24

We are moving through editing on schedule. I have begun working on a logo for the back cover of the digipak. I will show this below. Jim is working on the website that we are making to promote the band. So far it is looking good but we do need some images to put up. Chris hasn't been able to send us any so we are considering just dressing indie and taking some ourselves.

Update 23

We are continuing to work on with editing the video. At the moment it's slow going, but once we have all of the clips we need in a general sort of order we can really get cracking with effects, timing and filters.

Update 22

We noticed that there was an issue with the fisherman scene. The only problem is that we forgot to put the line on the rod. This is only visible during one shot but it's so simple to redo that we have decided to reshoot it. This will add to the realism of the piece.

Update 21

We finished the filming today. Finally done! The footage looks great, especially the ritual footage. The dusk atmosphere worked really well for us and I can't wait to see the finished product.

Update 20

This weekend we are going to be filming the final scenes of our piece. We have already started editing it together we just need the final couple of pieces. Tomorrow afternoon we are going to film the fisherman scene. This will probably take an hour or so. Then we will wait for dusk to do the ritual scene.

Update 19

Today we filmed the forest scenes. This included the ritual leader leaving the box in the forest. The hunter finding the box, the hunter throwing the box away and the 70s guy burying himself with the box. We intentionally used the same location for all of these to try to get across the cyclical nature of the box and life itself. We also intend to use the same location for the ritual, the fisherman scene and the 70s guy finding the box for the same reason. This way we go from the beach then to the forest then back to the beach then back to the forest again.
